Redcar Sand coloured concrete

HATCRETE Colourmix was specified on this prestigious project after months of performance and colour trials.

A total of £30m is planned to be invested in the seafront defences and to create a unique and vibrant promenade which will attract visitors with a network of beautifully designed public spaces incorporating water cascades, sunshine traps, performance space and sheltered seating from which to view the towns distinctive seascape.

Hatfield's technical department were in talks with the main contractor, Birse, well before any concrete was laid. The architect required a seamless blend between beach and seafront which was created using HATCRETE Colourmix in a custom colour which is a proven product in similar environments.

Colourmix is consistant, uniform and will not fade over time which will ensure this prestigious sea front project will retain its character and vibrance for years to come.
