Roy Hatfield Ltd is Working with CERAM |
Roy Hatfield Ltd is Working with CERAM To Develop New and Innovative Products From Waste Plasterboard.
Roy Hatfield Ltd is working with CERAM on a new and exciting plasterboard recycling project. The project has been commissioned by WRAP as part of its funding from DEFRA's Business Resource and Efficiency programme. CERAM is an international organisation with over 50 years of experience working for clients who are involved in ceramics and materials processing. CERAM, Roy Hatfield Ltd and a number of other relevant and experienced partners are looking to develop used discarded plasterboard into a useable high value gypsum mould material. By utilising a bespoke recycling facility Roy Hatfield Ltd are able to produce and supply a feedstock gypsum material to CERAM suitable for further testing and processing. The results of the development programme are looking very promising. The creation of a new end use for recycled plasterboard takes another step towards way to reducing the UK's dependence on landfill.
