Since early 2003 we have been recycling 10'000's of tonnes of waste gypsum residues. We use our own, in house developed plant to enable us to process gypsum waste from a multitude of sources. Please see our Plasterboard Recycling section also.

On July the 16th 2005 the disposal of gypsum became subject to new and stringent environmental legislation. Gypsum has to be stored in separate confinement cells (Monocells) when landfilled. The cost of Monocell disposal is high, our recycling service represents substantial cost savings over monocell disposal as well as undercutting mixed demolition waste landfill rates in most cases.

Recycled gypsum is used in the manufacturing process of our decorative concrete products (Concrete Colouring Products website). As well as utilising recycled gypsum ourselves we also supply products containing recycled gypsum to a diverse range of applications in many different markets.
